Responsibilities

Assist with Salesforce data clean-up, documentation, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency

Review existing reports and dashboards to assess utilization and identify opportunities for improvement

Conduct data quality checks

Contribute to data literacy and training materials for program staff (e.g., how to interpret dashboards, enter data correctly, etc.)

Support ad hoc data analysis, visualizations, or reporting requests from program, development, and operations teams

Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving data systems and workflows

Qualification

Required

Rising undergraduate sophomore, junior, or senior, preferably pursuing a degree in information systems, information science, data science, business analytics, computer science, public policy, or a related field

Demonstrated interest in Chicago CRED's mission and commitment to using data to advance community-based impact

Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning) required; experience with Salesforce a plus

Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and data insights

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Effective communicator who can explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences

Ability to work carefully and responsibly with confidential information and sensitive data

Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive; able to work both independently and with team members in a dynamic, evolving, and passionate environment
