Responsibilities

Support attorneys specializing in Personal Injury
Assist in trial preparation
Manage attorneys' schedules, and preparing them for meetings and court appearances
Take initiative to anticipate attorneys' needs and streamline workflows
Communicate with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and other third parties
Review, organize, and analyze case materials
Prepare pleadings, discovery documents, and other legal forms
Conduct legal research and provide other support duties as required

Required

Proven working at least 3 years of experience as legal assistant/paralegal
Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols under State and Federal court systems
Excellent writing and typing skills
Ability to draft basic legal forms/documents
Proficient in calendaring/docketing of court mandated appointments
Comfortable communicating with clients on a day-to-day basis
Working knowledge of case management software and other basic computer software
Must have strong organizational and time management skills, and be able to work independently as well as with other team members
