Responsibilities

Lead and optimize data workflows for environmental projects using EQuIS and custom PostgreSQL systems

Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with established standards

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to transform raw data into actionable insights for decision-making

Drive innovation in data processing, analysis, and visualization to support client projects

Develop and document ETL procedures for centralized databases

Manage data acquisition, cleaning, transformation, and loading processes

Design and implement database models and maintain scripts, queries, and stored procedures

Perform data analysis, statistical modeling, and trend evaluation

Collaborate with project teams to meet data requirements and deliver insights

Maintain rigorous quality control and documentation standards

Qualification

EQuIS experienceDatabase managementSQL proficiencyPostgreSQLEnvironmental data setsProgramming in RPythonAnalytical skillsProblem-solving skillsCommunication skillsTeam collaboration

Required

Advanced degree in computer science, IT, or related field

3+ years of EQuIS experience (data loading, dashboard development, etc.)

5+ years in environmental data management, preferably in consulting

Strong proficiency in SQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server

Experience with environmental data sets (field sampling, analytical chemistry, geospatial data, GIS)

Programming skills in R or Python

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Preferred

Experience with configuring EQuIS modules such as Collect, DQM, and SPM preferred
