The Mechanical Engineering Intern will be responsible for the timely and quality completion of equipment design according to customer specifications while collaborating with experienced engineers to refine design concepts.

Responsibilities

Update Part models and drawings
Bill of Material maintenance
Supporting the Lead Mechanical Engineer on projects
Assist with hands-on assembly, testing, designing, and troubleshooting of custom automation equipment
Contribute to multiple projects daily
Prepare technical reports and documentation
Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and other team members
Work closely with your project team to find solutions to achieve targeted functional outcomes within defined budgets and timelines

Qualification

SolidWorks3D CAD softwareMS OfficeMechanical systems understandingMath aptitudeVerbal communicationWritten communication

Required

Reliable transportation and an ability to travel, travel to customer/vendor facilities will be very limited
Working knowledge of SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software
Proficient in MS office
Strong math aptitude and ability to perform basic calculations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of mechanical systems and hands on approach learning
Working toward a Degree in Mechanical Engineering
