Director-Institutional Sales
SkyWater Search Partners is working with a $1B Midwestern asset manager seeking its first dedicated Institutional Sales Director to expand into the consultant and institutional investor market. This role involves shaping the go-to-market strategy, developing relationships, and driving new mandates across the U.S.
Responsibilities
Build and manage a targeted pipeline of institutional prospects
Engage consultants, RIAs, endowments, and foundations with a strategic, relationship-based approach
Lead meetings, conferences, and travel planning; maintain disciplined activity and CRM hygiene
Serve as a highly visible ambassador of the firm’s investment philosophy and performance
Qualification
Required
5–10+ years in institutional sales or consultant relations
Proven ability to generate meetings and close new business
Strong communication and organizational discipline
Midwest or major-hub based
Comfortable working autonomously in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
