Responsibilities

Provide resources, training, and talent management to the team
Owns the execution of material program strategy (MPS) and the material program plan (MPP)
Drive impact and influence program planning, financial goals, building teams
Review and approve gating activities, EACs, Risk Register, engineering boards, proposal strategies, supply base messaging
Work cross-functionally to resolve supplier or material issues
Report status related to supplier and material needs to various leadership teams at varying levels: Tier 1-3
Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally as required

Required

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
Experience managing and/or leading a team
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Supply chain experience in the Aerospace or Defense Industry
Experience coordinating strategies and managing tactical execution
Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead teams
Strong executive presence and reporting skills
Customer proposal, negotiation experience, TINA compliance
Financial acumen, budget management, EAC experience
CORE, Six Sigma, or Lean methodologies/principals
Problem solving and conflict resolution
Experience in a Matrix organizational structure
