Responsibilities

Receives, stores, inventories and issues the full range of available tools and supplies used by shop personnel

Verifies and reports overages, shortages and damaged items

Issues and receives returned items; checks for damage or maintenance needs upon return

Performs minor maintenance on tools and stock items

Reports damaged or inoperative tools and used or excess items to the supervisor

Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position

A one-year probationary period may be required

Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check

Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2

Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities

Ability to work an irregular schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and split-shifts
