Responsibilities

Learn how to interact with prospects in the following areas:

Welcoming guests in the front office and answering phone calls

Touring the community and completing a lease application & paperwork

Learn how to interact with residents in the following areas:

Completing rent collections, deposits, late notices, and posting rent

Receiving move out notices, service requests, and resident transfers

Learn how to inspect the property in the following areas:

Walk vacant apartment homes, make readies, and complete service requests in property management software

Preparing the office, model home, vacant apartment homes and tour path

Community policy violation, repairs needed, landscaping check, etc

Check assigned email regularly

Check in with assigned manager and internship program directors regularly to report progress, questions, and any concerns that may arise

Work with team to actively post on community social pages including Instagram and Facebook and incorporate responding positively to all online reviews

Required

Interest or desire to work in property management, real estate, or sales

Excellent interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail

Strong customer service skills and an enjoyment in meeting new people

Skilled in basic math

Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Ability to work in-person at assigned Willow Bridge Property for the duration of the program

Ability to collaborate with team members and use available resources to effectively complete tasks

Must be able to tour the community with clients, which includes walking the property and climbing stairs

Will be a rising Junior or Senior for a degree in a Property Management, Real Estate, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field at the time of the first day of the program
