Responsibilities
Operate sawmill machinery, including saws, conveyors, and sorting systems
Monitor equipment performance and adjust settings for optimal efficiency
Inspect logs and lumber for quality and compliance with specifications
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on sawmill equipment
Ensure proper alignment and feeding of logs into the sawmill system
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth production operations
Qualification
Required
Experience operating sawmill machinery or similar industrial equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
Knowledge of lumber processing and sawmill operations
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
