Responsibilities

Assist in reviewing and updating existing security policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure alignment with industry frameworks and regulatory requirements
Support the GRC team in preparing for internal or external security audits
Contribute to the development of engaging, creative, and accessible security awareness content for all employees, including through research of current and emerging social engineering tactics to inform training materials
Help administer the phishing simulation program and analyze campaign results

Required

GPA 3.3 or above
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a related field of study
Must have 60 credit hours completed by May 2026
Successful completion of a pre-employment screen including a reference check, criminal background check, and possible drug test
Basic understanding of security frameworks
Familiarity with common cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities, as well as fundamental security principles (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability - CIA Triad)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, non-technical policy language
Attention to detail for reviewing complex regulatory and contractual documents
Creative mindset for developing engaging training materials
Strong interpersonal skills and comfort in presenting information
Ability to conduct thorough research on new security regulations and best practices
Basic data analysis skills to interpret phishing and training metrics
