Professional Development Specialist (Per Diem)

Catapult Learning is a national organization providing educational solutions for student success. The Professional Development Specialist will support educators by coaching and mentoring them, leading workshops, and enhancing instructional strategies to foster student growth and development.

Responsibilities

Host dynamic and collaborative planning conferences that unleash the creative potential of educators
Coach, train, and mentor teachers individually/one-on-one
Craft creative example lessons that captivate students
Lead interactive professional development workshops when needed
Research and demonstrate instructional strategies
Foster a culture of active participation and vibrant open discussions
Ensure all educator development is completed successfully
Provide report documentation as required
Communicate actively with directors regarding activities
Other duties as assigned

Required

Teaching Certificate
Master's degree
Experience teaching multiple grade levels in multiple classroom environments
Minimum 3 years of experience coaching teachers
Experience delivering professional development workshops to adults
Experience with elementary school, middle/high school experience, math/science/STEM and ELA background
Excellent communication skills
Microsoft Office experience

Preferred

Administrative experience is a plus
