Responsibilities

Operate machinery safely and efficiently

Maintain quality control by monitoring production output

Identify any issues with the product or process

Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Follow all safety procedures and guidelines along with assisting in modifying and updating procedures

Operate a forklift for various functions

Lift bags, weighing a maximum of 55 lbs. out of a transfer wagon and stage them on the charge conveyor three to five feet away

Manually adjust the location of the bale on the conveyor

Repetitive motion sweeping and scraping the mixer

Communicate with the additional staff member

Responsible for operation of the Mixer, Skid unloader, Bale Cutter, Weigh Conveyor and Charge conveyor

Follow production schedule and maintain pace as outlined in mixing procedures

Assist in establishing and maintaining compound processing procedures

Fill out any applicable paperwork

Empty oil buckets on the mezzanine

Assist in staging and organizing raw materials

Keep work area clean
