Habitat for Humanity International is seeking a qualified individual to become its new Executive Director for the Kershaw County affiliate. The Executive Director will provide overall leadership and direction, manage staff, oversee residential construction projects, and develop fundraising strategies while building strong relationships with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Cultivate a strong and highly engaged Board of Directors (Board)

In collaboration with the Board, establish goals and guide strategy

Hire, manage and support HFHKC staff (4 persons)

Perform annual performance reviews of all staff and set personnel policies

Oversee residential construction and minor repair projects to ensure quality, timeliness and budget compliance

Develop and monitor performance against budgets in collaboration with the operations manager

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, audits and compliance with all legal requirements

Develop and implement fund-raising strategies

Oversee all marketing and communication efforts
