They are seeking a Program Manager to oversee the operational execution of their new Professional Doctorate in Applied Artificial Intelligence, ensuring high-quality outcomes and effective communication among all stakeholders involved in the program.

Responsibilities
Coordinate the full lifecycle of the Professional PhD program, from admissions through graduation, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of all academic and administrative activities
Serve as the primary liaison among students, Supervisors, Area Chairs, and the Doctoral Committee to maintain effective communication and oversight
Support the admissions process by reviewing applications, coordinating interviews, and facilitating the selection and confirmation of Supervisors
Monitor student progress throughout the coursework and research phases, ensuring compliance with institutional milestones and quality assurance standards
Organize proposal evaluations, preliminary research reviews, and dissertation defenses
Collaborate with OPIT’s Academic Director and Doctoral Committee to uphold governance, reporting, and accreditation standards
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of program management processes, documentation, and the overall student experience
Qualification
Required
Proven experience managing postgraduate or doctoral-level academic programs, preferably within a Professional Doctorate, Executive Doctorate, or applied research context
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively
Familiarity with online higher education environments and digital learning platforms (e.g., Canvas, Zoom, Slack, or comparable systems)
Understanding of doctoral-level academic governance, supervision, and examination procedures
Self-motivated, highly accountable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred
Prior experience in AI-related, technology, or research-intensive programs will be considered an asset
