Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day operations for the fire alarm and electrical service teams, including scheduling, coordination, and field support
Review, estimate, and quote deficiencies identified during inspections and service calls
Develop and manage small projects from scope definition through completion, ensuring quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction
Collaborate with the Life Safety Service Manager to ensure alignment on sprinkler and fire alarm projects
Work closely with the VP of Service and Electrical Operations Manager to establish growth strategies and performance goals for the division
Maintain strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional work or service agreements
Develop fire alarm testing standard operating procedures in conjunction with the sprinkler team
Ensure compliance with NFPA, NEC, and local codes and regulations
Support technician training and development to enhance team capability and performance
Manage project budgets, costs, and timelines to meet company profitability targets

Required

5+ years of experience in fire alarm and/or electrical service or project management (commercial or industrial setting preferred)
Working knowledge of fire alarm systems, electrical systems, and life safety codes (NFPA 72, NEC)
Experience with fire alarm testing, inspections, and deficiencies
Strong estimating and quoting skills for service deficiencies and small projects
Proven leadership ability with experience managing field personnel
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred

NICET certification (Fire Alarm Systems) and/or electrical license
