Assistant Director, Talent Opportunity Center
SEO (Sponsors for Educational Opportunity) is an educational non-profit dedicated to closing educational and career opportunity gaps for ambitious young people. The Assistant Director, Talent Opportunity Center will lead operations for the Talent Opportunity Center, facilitating professional opportunities and development for SEO alumni in the finance and banking sectors.

Responsibilities
Recruit alternative investment/financial services firms as talent partners
Manage relationships with new and existing talent partners to source and promote their opportunities
Cultivate relationships with firms and organizations to provide professional development opportunities to SEO alumni
Manage all Leadership Institute projects to ensure that program deliverables are on-time and on-goal and meet the expectations of funders
Cultivate database of experienced SEO alumni for available opportunities through relationship building
Provide support and advice to experienced professionals seeking their next role in their careers
Identify and develop training opportunities for job seekers
Match qualified talent to opportunities
Support the development of presentations, webinars, program materials, and assist with tracking of responses to surveys and other constituent inquiries
Promote open opportunities using direct marketing platforms, email campaigns, text, phone calls
Develop professional development opportunities for candidates, including workshops, mock interviews and skills training
Plan and execute events and activities to support partners and alumni
Leverage Monday.com and other project management tools to track partners and candidates
Create goals and KPIs to evaluate processes and draw insights to inform recommendations for continuous improvement
Provide onsite support during various Leadership Institute events (sometimes outside of regular business hours)
Provide ad-hoc support to the Director of Leadership Institute and team members as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from accredited institution required
5-7 years of professional experience; Strong knowledge of the alternative investments or related industry
Passion for SEO: A deep curiosity and awareness of the barriers to entry and obstacles for pre-professionals launching careers in Corporate America
Creativity: An affinity for generating new ideas through open exploration of diverse sources of information while grounding ideas in evidence, converting theory into practice, and evaluating creative solutions for continuous improvement
Initiative: Proactive in identifying ways to contribute to SEO's goals and mission
Problem-solving: The capacity to anticipate needs, use the best resources, and employ careful decision-making
Teamwork & Collaboration: The ability to be both a self-starter and a team player who builds people-first relationships and centers the SEO's mission whenever possible
Partner Development: Understanding of the market/landscape to identify opportunities for growth and partnership
Relationship Management: Proven ability to build relationships, influence key partners and stakeholders from the SEO community, and produce outcomes through collaboration
Practiced verbal and interpersonal communication skills; must be comfortable speaking to and engaging with a wide range of communities and through different avenues, including in-person, email, messaging platforms, video chats/conferencing, and phone calls
Technical proficiency in MS Office, GSuite, and standard workplace applications like Zoom and Box
Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple competing priorities
Preferred
Advanced degree preferred
Experience with program evaluation and measurement preferred
Intermediate skills in Canva, Salesforce, and Excel are strongly preferred
