Land Technician
Diamondback Energy is seeking a Land Technician responsible for preparing documentation and assisting Landmen with contracts and leases. The role involves reviewing invoices, preparing proposal letters, and collaborating across various company disciplines to ensure efficient land operations.

Responsibilities
Prepare general, routine correspondence for others’ signature
Assist Landmen in preparation of contracts, JOA’s, oil and gas leases, assignments, and other applicable documents
Review invoices, code to appropriate AFE and circulate for approvals
Prepare and submit proposal letters to partners on well drilling, workover, completions, etc
Respond to partner submittals
Work across company disciplines including Land, Accounting, Drilling, Geology and Operations
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
At least one (1) year of experience in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Three (3) years of industry experience in land or related field
Basic knowledge of Oil and Gas practices and policies and can apply that knowledge to the work
Strong organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated integrity in work product and in dealing with coworkers
Strong attention to detail and flexible regarding workload and priorities
Basic research skills with regard to reviewing multiple data sources to find specific information
Proven ability to discern work in need of escalation
Proven ability to identify potential issues in daily work
