Responsibilities

Provide training in quality systems and related areas such as APQP, BOS, Problem Solving, SPC, etc
Interface with process engineering, manufacturing plants and customers on new product/process launches
Responsible for PPAP, process and PSW runs
Develop, maintain, and improve documents in accordance with TS 16949 standards
Assist in the development of process flow diagrams; control plans and inspection, gage and operator instructions including gage R&R studies, CPH analysis, containment documentation
Perform quality audits, evaluate trends, and support corrective action activities
Interface with suppliers to coordinate action on failure issues on parts and services
Employee must perform his/her job within acceptable safety, environmental, quality, productivity and performance standards as outlined in plant policies, handbooks, and applicable work instructions
Develop data handling process to efficiently retrieve, store, and analyze data
Provide support and knowledge of Quality Systems to plant personnel
Conduct statistical analysis on product capabilities
Interface with process engineering and manufacturing new product/process launches
Support and adhere to TA EH&S policies and procedures
Participate in the PPAP, process and PSW runs
Provide technical knowledge to production area as well as all support quality, engineering, and other departments
Develop, maintain, and improve documents in accordance with TS 16949 standards
Assist in the development of process flow diagrams: control plans and inspection, gage and operator instruction
Perform quality audits, evaluate trends, and support corrective action activities
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Required

Possess a high school diploma or GED
5+ years' experience in the automotive industry or equivalent of combination of education and experience
Experience with TS 16949 (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans)
Understanding of the Quality Operating System Methodology
Understanding of the 8D Methodology
Good computer skills
Good written and oral communications skills
Must be able to work under minimal supervision
