Epic Resolute/PB Application System Analyst II

The Epic Resolute/PB Application System Analyst II will configure and maintain Epic components, support users, and collaborate on process improvements to enhance billing workflows.

Responsibilities

Configure and maintain Epic Resolute PB components, including charge capture, claim generation, payment posting, follow-up workflows, and reporting
Collaborate with operational stakeholders to design efficient billing workflows aligned with compliance and revenue goals
Develop and maintain build documentation, configuration standards, and change control processes
Participate in new Epic module implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives
Conduct gap analyses to identify areas for process improvement and automation
Lead testing cycles (unit, integrated, user acceptance) and coordinate remediation efforts
Provide tier-2/3 support for end users; troubleshoot and resolve application issues
Monitor system performance and coordinate issue resolution with Epic technical teams
Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements
Act as a liaison between revenue cycle operations, IT, and Epic representatives
Train and support users on system functionality and best practices
Document system changes, workflows, and standard operating procedures
Build and maintain reports and dashboards in Epic (e.g., Clarity, Workbench, SlicerDicer) to support operational and financial decision-making
Analyze trends in billing performance and identify root causes of denials or delays

Required

Bachelor's Degree in a health, science, or business field, or an equivalent level of professional experience required. Additional Certifications may be required
Three years progressively responsible experience in information applications, including one year performing programming or applications analysis or equivalent, such as business analysis, is required. Experience as a provider, clinician or ancillary services in the implementation of a system as a subject matter expert or super user may be substituted
Demonstrates competence in analysis and problems solving principles with emphasis in user relations, data gathering techniques and management information applications is required
Demonstrates ability to develop technical specifications for all aspects of applications, and familiarity with problem analysis, hardware/software configurations and application integration

Preferred

Experience working in a healthcare environment is preferred
