Responsibilities

Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, including a wide range of project scopes from small to complex with varying schedules

Managing projects through all phases of project execution from initiation and scope development, through design, construction and closeout to achieve project schedules, budgets and goals

Interact with the client and design team to develop project scope and communicate regular project status updates with the client

Provide direction to a multi-discipline project design team

Monitor project execution for conformance to established processes

Actively develop relationships with all levels of the client organization, promoting client satisfaction and marketing of services

Demonstrate creativity, foresight and judgement in anticipating and solving problems

Required

Bachelor Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or related field from accredited program

Minimum of 8 years of experience, project management experience for commercial office facilities preferred

Ability to orchestrate meetings with team members and upper management and lead multi-discipline design team

Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Conduct field work throughout the facility to support design and construction

Capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered

Must be proficient in the use of basic computer software (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, project specifications and procedure manuals

Must have thorough understanding of OSHA and the latest safety standards

Strong communication skills, written and verbal
