Start in 2026 SummerIdaho Forest Group is currently seeking a Fabricator Intern to join their Central Fab Team during Summer 2026. The Fabrication Intern will gain experience through a variety of tasks such as welding, cutting, and assembling equipment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities
Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations and JSAs
Assist with a wide range of tasks including; welding, cutting, fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing of various types of equipment
Assist with the dismantle and re-assembly on various types of equipment for modifications or upgrades
Assist with trouble shooting or inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of issue or other problems
Keep working areas clean
Other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or have recently graduated with a relevant certificate
Ability to work at varying heights
Assist with operating of cranes and/or rigging experience
Knowledge of industrial machinery and processes
High School Diploma or GED (or willingness to quickly obtain one as a condition of employment)
Valid Driver's License is highly preferred
Ability to pass a hair follicle drug test, post-offer pre-employment physical, and background check
Having housing and transportation, none will be provided
Preferred
Hearing – preferred for awareness of surrounding machinery, mobile equipment, emergencies
