Responsibilities
Lead and direct design of water/ wastewater / treatment/ distribution/ collection projects from the planning and design phases
Creating, managing and developing projects to meet desired scope, schedule and budgets
Prepare construction documents including plans and specifications
Prepare project cost estimates and schedules
Provide overall supervision and technical direction and expertise to team of design engineers and technical staff
Coordinate multi-disciplined engineering teams
Interact with and oversee the work of CAD staff
Interaction with regulatory agencies
Support or lead preparation and development of proposals and strategic client pursuits
Client management and development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
7+ years' experience in water/ wastewater / treatment/ distribution/ collection planning, design, and construction administration as a lead design engineer or project manager
Current PE license in OH is required
Working with municipal and private clients
Understanding of state and Federal funding opportunities for projects
Experience in regulatory compliance requirements and permitting
Strong team leadership experience or proven potential; including managing project delivery expectations, prioritization of tasks, and mentoring
Excellent technical skills in the water/ wastewater / treatment/ distribution/ collection practice area
