Responsibilities
Assist in the design and coordination of roadway projects for government agencies such as; City, County and ODOT
Design calculations, quantity, and cost estimates, developing design specifications, alignment and profile design, and plan preparation
Attending client meetings and taking meeting minutes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school
Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is a condition of employment and must be achieved at the time of hire or within six (6) months of the start date to maintain employment
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a functional understanding of design software packages, specifically MS Excel, MS Word and preferably MicroStation
Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position
Ability to work 40 hours a week
Ability to work in the posted location
Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment., occasional travel or field visits may be required to support
Preferred
1-4 years of experience in Transportation engineering or related field is preferred
Transportation Engineering Internship experience preferred
