Global Income Tax Accounting Manager

The Global Income Tax Accounting Manager will manage the global tax accounting process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in tax provisions and compliance with ASC 740, while also overseeing the preparation of tax disclosures and liaising with various teams within the organization.

Responsibilities
Prepare the consolidated income tax provision, including preparation of the tax journal entry and tax footnote disclosures to be included in the Company's SEC filings (10-Q and 10-K) and other tax related disclosures, as well as audit committee materials
Manage the submission and review process for quarterly and annual tax packages from international operations, including aiding and coaching to global team
Manage preparation and review of international tax basis balance sheets and provision to return calculations
Liaise with FP&A and Controllership to prepare legal entity profit forecasting, support local ownership of results and to support the company’s global tax positions
Manage the preparation of calculations for the quarter and annual global effective tax rate (for actuals, budget and forecast by legal entity and in consolidation)
Assist in the measurement of and accounting for uncertain tax positions in accordance with ASC740-10
Analyze global tax attributes, including recommendations and supporting documentation for valuation allowances on deferred tax assets in a tax jurisdiction
Proactively research and monitor issues and in-period changes related to income tax accounting
Manage training for the company’s ASC 740 US GAAP Income Tax Accounting process globally, including software support
Maintain and improve efficiency and efficacy of tax accounting related internal control processes and documentation (Sarbanes-Oxley compliance)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, required
6-8 years of relevant tax accounting and compliance experience as an accounting/tax professional in a multinational environment
Possess intermediate knowledge of ASC 740 tax accounting rules
Experience maintaining OneSource Tax Provision (OTP) and Global Access Management (GAM) software
Must be detail oriented, can prioritize and multi-task independently, and can support work processes in a fast-paced, global environment with a high degree of accuracy
Solid written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong project management capabilities with the ability to effectively navigate through a large matrix organization
Preferred
CPA or advanced tax degree preferred
