Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budget
Work closely with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
Lead the execution of telecom deployment projects, ensuring all activities are carried out according to the project plan
Coordinate with engineering, operations, and field teams to ensure seamless deployment
Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure project efficiency
Identify resource gaps and implement solutions to address them
Identify potential risks to project success and develop mitigation strategies
Monitor risk factors throughout the project lifecycle and adjust plans as necessary to minimize impact
Ensure all deployment activities meet quality standards and project specifications
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with company and industry standards
Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that projects remain within financial constraints
Provide regular financial reports to stakeholders and address any budgetary issues
Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams
Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and any issues that arise
Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and as-built records
Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders
Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the tools and information needed to succeed
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience with focus on field deployment, installations, or rollouts
Project documents To include but not limited to; Charter, Vendor Service Agreements, Statement of Work, Schedules, Job Safety Analysis, Permits, As-Builts and Redlines, Equipment or Inventory Management, Change Orders, Invoicing, Milestones, Close out Package (COP)
Strong knowledge of operations environment to include but not limited to; OSHA, JSA, coordinating with partners or sub-contractors, supplier relationships
Experience in project scoping, cost estimation, and monitoring
Understanding of telecommunications infrastructure (fiber optics, wireless systems, network equipment, microwave links, cabling, or site construction)
Deep understanding of full life cycles to include planning, execution, and closure
Clear and open communications with field personnel
Strong skills in Microsoft applications
Ability to manage multiple projects at once
Ability to operate across time zones
Preferred
PMP certification preferred, or equivalent experience
Preferred experience in vendor platforms (SiteTracker, OneVizion, Siterra, Fuze, MagentaBuild, etc.)
