Sales Engineer (Customer Success) - Denver
Datadog is a global SaaS business on a mission to enable digital transformation and cloud migration. They are seeking a Sales Engineer to provide technical expertise, support customer evaluations, and collaborate with sales and product teams to enhance customer success.

Responsibilities
Partner with the sales and customer success teams to articulate the overall Datadog value proposition, vision and strategy to customers
Continually learn new technology to build competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility
Deliver tailored and customized product and technical presentations to a broad range of potential and existing clients
Have a direct line of communication with the product team to collaborate on feature requests
Support customer evaluations by helping define clear steps, success criteria, and technical guidance throughout the process
Think creatively and help resolve the wide variety of technical challenges that may occur during the overall customer’s life cycle
Qualification
Required
Has 2+ years of experience in a technical sales and/or post-sales role
Demonstrates proficiency in modern web development and cloud technologies
Enjoys collaborating and teaming with others
Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills
Comfortable and confident in delivering technical presentations/demos, including the ability to adapt demos and messaging to different stakeholder needs
Can multi-task, manage time well, and be responsive to others
Curious, eager to learn, and persistent in solving problems
Able to sit up to 4 hours, traveling to and from client sites and events
Able to travel via auto, train or air up to 15% of the time
