Responsibilities
Experience in environmental assessments and safety evaluations of nuclear facilities for federal and/or state agencies, specifically uranium mills and/or in situ uranium recovery facilities
Evaluating these facilities for potential environmental impacts (hydrogeological, human health and safety, air quality, etc)
References of the safety and environmental evaluations previously performed should be cited
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline
At least 5 years of experience in environmental assessments and safety evaluations of nuclear facilities
Experience evaluating uranium mills and/or in situ uranium recovery facilities for potential environmental impacts
References of the safety and environmental evaluations previously performed
U.S. citizenship
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Preferred
Experience using various radiation codes, such as RESRAD, MicroShield, and MILDOS
