Effector Power - Principal Test Engineer

They are seeking a Principal Test Engineer for their Effector Power and Analog Design Team, responsible for testing and troubleshooting electrical systems, ensuring they meet specifications and customer success through innovative testing strategies.

Responsibilities
Working with a team of engineers performing electrical tests and troubleshooting on subassemblies, assemblies, and systems for conformance to specifications
Advanced understanding and ability to apply the theory of operation for the unit under test to enable determination of faulty product for design, workmanship, environmental and/or component defects on complex electronics
Work on systems validation, test and analysis while working through all phases of integration, and test validation activities within the Labs
Ensure customer success through the development and execution of innovative and comprehensive test, verification, and validation strategies, processes, tools and techniques
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years' experience
Experience with prints, schematics, sketches, and test procedures
Experience troubleshooting circuit cards, at the component level
Experience with using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators or spectrum analyzers
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
DoD Clearance: Secret
Preferred
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience performing engineering tests such as ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure), DVT (Design Verification Test) and DMV (Design Margin Verification)
A self-starter, a quick learner, be able to function in a dynamic environment, and have good time management skills. Should have an appreciation for how successful teams are structured
Knowledge of programmable electronic parts including microcontrollers and FPGA's
Strong team player with good interpersonal skills as well as strong written/verbal communication skills
