Allianz Trade in North America is a trusted insurance and asset management company. They are seeking a Surety Underwriting Assistant to support Surety Underwriters in broker management and all aspects of contract and bond creation and maintenance while mentoring Surety Underwriting Partners.

Insurance

Responsibilities

Create and maintain profiles for facilities and related bonds
Liaison between underwriters and operations team relative to bond registration, riders, cancellations, pricing and new bond creation
Management of broker of record process
Issuance of bond and facility renewal reporting
Broker Relationship management
Mentoring of Surety Underwriting Partners as the Operations team evolves into a more technical resource
Maintenance of prospect and client files on the V drive
Management of bond approval process
Creation and Maintenance of rate fillings
Assist with fronting transactions
Provide input to the team as we evolve the operations related roles
Engagement with the larger Euler Hermes organization to support the visibility of Surety within Allianz Trade

Qualification

Required

2-4 years of experience working in a surety function
Undergraduate degree preferred
Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in Core Microsoft Programs
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a multi task environment
Established record of successfully managing multiple customer accounts
Strong broker relationships

Preferred

basic awareness of Artificial Intelligence technologies
enthusiastic about learning and integrating AI into everyday business processes
(Generative) Artificial Intelligence or GenAI or AI
Data Analysis
(Microsoft) Copilot
ChatGPT
