Responsibilities
Assist the APM TT/UAS/CIADS in development and acquisition of Group III and below sUAS and UGVs, and AI integration for Small Unit Maneuver
Ensure familiarity and compliance with OSD Drone Policy and exceptions to policy, advising on operational implications
Support requirements generation and development of SOOs, SOWs, APBs, SAMPs, and acquisition strategies
Assist with specification development, cost/resource identification, T&E planning, and life-cycle support strategies
Qualification
Required
Minimum 10+ years working with ISR, UAS/UGV systems, or autonomy/AI capabilities, including 3–5+ years on DoD UAS or ISR programs
Demonstrated experience applying AI/automation to tactical ISR and maneuver challenges
Familiarity with UAS policy, airworthiness, and operational constraints
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or related field
Preferred
SOF or tactical UAS/UGV operations experience
Experience integrating AI/ML into edge devices or small-unit tools
