Personal Assistant - Private UHNW Family (NYC)
Solomon Page is a specialty niche provider of staffing and executive search solutions, and they are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant for an Ultra-High-Net-Worth private family in New York City. The role involves overseeing household operations, managing staff, and providing high-level personal support to the family while ensuring discretion and efficiency in all tasks.
Responsibilities
Assist principals with day-to-day personal needs, travel arrangements, and scheduling
Oversee daily operations of the residence, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
Work with the Estate Manager to supervise, schedule, and support household staff; ensure service standards are consistently met
Create household and lifestyle manual, preference lists, org charts, etc
Train and manage NYC household/personal staff
Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers to maintain the property to the highest standard
Run errands, manage shopping, and handle ad hoc requests with efficiency and discretion
Provide general administrative support, including correspondence, purchases, and logistics
Act as the main household point of contact with the family office team
Communicate needs, updates, and budgets between household and office operations
Support household-related financial tracking and reporting as needed
Assist in planning and coordinating family events and gatherings
Ensure smooth execution of household activities, entertaining, and special projects
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5-7+ years of experience in a similar role (House Manager, Personal Assistant, or Chief of Staff to a private family)
Proven ability to manage staff and oversee household operations in UHNW environments
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional, discreet, and trustworthy; maintains strict confidentiality
Tech-savvy with proficiency in scheduling, communication, and organizational tools
Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work outside standard hours as needed
Preferred
Bachelor's degree is required/strongly preferred
Knowledge of New York vendors, services, and resources preferred
