Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and recommend credit facilities for corporate and commercial clients, including structured and complex transactions
Conduct financial analysis, covenant assessment, risk rating, and due diligence, including client calls and site visits
Manage an assigned credit portfolio as part of the second line of defense
Monitor client performance, covenant compliance, exceptions, and early warning indicators; escalate issues as needed
Coach, mentor, and develop junior credit staff to uphold strong credit standards
Provide delegation coverage for senior credit leadership when assigned
Participate in internal committees as required and ensure service levels and turnaround times are consistently met
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree qualified
8+ years' experience in credit underwriting or portfolio management within major financial institutions
Proven experience managing credit risk across corporate or commercial banking products
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Preferred
Prior experience leading or mentoring junior credit staff
