Responsibilities

Collaborate with and manage outside litigation counsel
Advise cross-functional teams on litigation strategy and risks
Coordinate and actively participate in internal discovery activities and subpoena responses
Address pre-litigation disputes
Assist with internal investigations
Support Legal department and team related projects, as assigned

Qualification

Litigation experienceCalifornia Bar membershipTechnology company experienceComplex litigation experienceJudgmentDrafting skillsBusiness acumenExceptional communicationCollaborative approachOrganizational skills

Required

7+ years of litigation experience (law firm experience is required)
Membership in good standing with the California Bar (or other bar association with the ability to register as in-house counsel in California)
Broad complex litigation experience, with emphasis in regulatory, consumer, products liability, multi-district litigations, and/or class actions
Excellent judgment, discretion, and risk assessment
Strong and effective drafting skills
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships
Practical business acumen, driving pragmatic business-oriented solutions
A highly approachable, collegial, and collaborative approach
Accountable and proactive self-starter, comfortable working independently
Superb organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once

Preferred

Technology company experience preferred
Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic organization preferred
