Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an Engineering Intern (M&S Scenario Developer) to join their team in Las Vegas, NV. This internship offers a unique opportunity for STEM students to support the flight test division and contribute to projects focused on the development of next-generation aircraft.

Responsibilities
Using tools like MATLAB and Python to analyze complex data sets from flight tests and simulations
Supporting the creation of test plans, procedures, and objectives for developmental flight testing
Managing and completing several concurrent tasks, working both independently and collaboratively
Preparing and delivering technical presentations and summaries to the engineering team and leadership
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a BS or MS degree program in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer), Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field
Expected graduation date of 2027 or later (targeting students available for 2026 internships)
Minimum GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale
Strong communication and public speaking skills
Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks
Must be a US Citizen
Ability to obtain/maintain a US government security clearance
Preferred
Strong data analysis, scripting, or tool development skills using Python/MATLAB
A strong interest in military aircraft, flight testing, and/or electronic warfare
Familiarity with object-oriented programming (e.g., C++, C#) which support AFSIM's underlying architecture
Familiarity with 3D modeling, simulation, or game engine environments (e.g., Unity)
Knowledge of software development best practices and code versioning tools (e.g., Git)
