Responsibilities

Leverage Excel, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), and/or SQL to analyze operational data, maintain dashboards, and present findings to stakeholders

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to scope, prioritize, and execute data-informed operational projects, ensuring alignment with business goals

Identify and recommend process improvements based on data insights to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in payment processing

Use data analysis to help identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and contribute to continuous platform and process improvement

Identifies, analyzes, and improves inefficient workflows within payment operations

Ensures high levels of accuracy in transaction processing, reporting, and reconciliations

Maintains thorough project plans, business requirements, and SOPs

Provides timely project updates to stakeholders at various levels, including executives

Builds strong relationships with internal partners and external vendors to support operational initiatives

Required

1-3 years of experience in working with operational data

Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic to intermediate formulas

Experience with a data visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker; SQL skills a plus

Interest in payments, financial services, or transaction processing

A willingness to dive in and take ownership

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and think proactively

Preferred

Understanding of ACH, card processing, or banking operations is a bonus
