Sustainability Analyst Intern - Master's Degree

Responsibilities
Support Sustainability Workstreams: Assist with initiatives related to data collection and management, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions measurement, renewable energy accounting, sustainability reporting, and disclosures to external rating agencies (e.g., CDP, EcoVadis, ISS, MSCI, Sustainalytics). Contribute to climate risk assessments, regulatory compliance, and other sustainability-related projects
Research and Benchmarking: Conduct market research and peer benchmarking to identify best practices and emerging trends in corporate sustainability
Cross-Functional Engagement: Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across Marvell to advance sustainability objectives and ensure alignment with broader business goals
Ad Hoc Support: Provide day-to-day assistance to the Sustainability Team, including administrative tasks and special projects as needed
Data Analysis and Visualization: Compile and analyze sustainability-related data, create dashboards or reports, and present findings to internal stakeholders
Policy and Standards Review: Assist in reviewing evolving sustainability regulations, frameworks, and rating methodologies to ensure compliance and readiness
Supplier and Value Chain Engagement: Support initiatives related to supplier sustainability assessments and Scope 3 emissions tracking
Project Coordination: Track timelines, deliverables, and documentation for ongoing sustainability projects
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Data Science, or other related fields with an anticipated graduation date between Winter 2026 and Spring 2027
Strong analytical and presentation skills, proficient in data management and a keen interest in sustainability and technology
Detail-oriented, capable of conducting thorough desktop research and have strong critical thinking, writing and communications skills
Proficiency in data analysis and data management tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerBI) and ability to maintain and analyze large sets of environmental, social, and governance data for sustainability reporting purposes
Experience in project management and team work, and ability to work with colleagues across different time zones
Strong desire to learn and grow and comfort with navigating complexity and uncertainty
Preferred
Knowledge and experience in at least one of the following areas: Electricity/power and renewable markets, operational water and waste management, circular economy, product sustainability, supply chain emissions management
