Responsibilities

Respond to security incidents through triage, analysis, investigation, and resolution, while monitoring and analyzing alerts across networks, systems, and applications
Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems
Assist in developing, implementing, and enforcing security policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards
Conduct risk assessments and lead vulnerability scanning activities to identify, prioritize, and help remediate security risks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into IT projects and clearly communicate risks and recommendations
Develop and deliver security awareness training and promote a strong security culture across the organization

Required

High School Diploma is required; Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or another related field preferred
6–9 years of relevant, cumulative experience in information security or related fields
Skilled with SIEM tools (Rapid7 a strong plus), experienced with Trend Micro and Palo Alto firewalls, and possess expertise in AWS and other cloud platforms
Able to tackle problems of diverse scopes with sound judgment while effectively collaborating and networking with senior internal and external partners
Flexible and adaptable, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while working effectively as a collaborative, cross-functional teammate

Preferred

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or another related field preferred
