Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts for major capital equipment, utilities, and power-generation assets and services
Partner with engineering, projects, finance, and legal to define commercial terms, payment milestones, warranties, SLAs, and risk allocation
Lead negotiations and manage the execution of various agreements, including MSAs, AIA agreements, and master procurement agreements. You'll also coordinate legal review cycles and prepare final contract packages
Create and maintain negotiation playbooks to accelerate turnaround times. You will also identify and implement process improvements to streamline contracting workflows
Assess commercial risks and recommend mitigations. You’ll also produce regular reports on contract KPIs and perform data analysis using tools like Excel or Google Sheets
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on commercial contracting or procurement experience
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required
Experience negotiating commercial terms and managing large, complex agreements, such as MSAs and AIA agreements
Proficiency with contract lifecycle management systems (Ironclad experience is highly desirable) and strong Microsoft Office skills (including Excel) for tracking and reporting
Excellent command of contract language, commercial risk assessment, and negotiation strategy
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interface at all levels of the organization
Ability to manage a high volume of contracts and prioritize competing deadlines
Preferred
A background in data center, utilities, power generation, construction, or similar industries
Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment where you successfully managed multiple long-turnaround contracts simultaneously
A proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline contracting workflows
