The Home Screen team is responsible for many of the iconic system experiences on Apple devices, and the engineer will work on prototyping new user interface paradigms, implementing new features, and improving performance.

Required

5-10 years of experience doing one, or multiple of the following: Developing apps with UIKit and/or SwiftUI
5-10 years of experience doing one, or multiple of the following: Architecting and implementing reusable public or private APIs
5-10 years of experience doing one, or multiple of the following: Operating systems programming
Excellent understanding of software design
Good debugging skills
Eagerness to work hard and learn a lot
Eye for detail
Feel for making user interactions feel fluid and fun
Good understanding of systems
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

Excellent understanding of optimization and performance issues across OS software layers
Understanding of inter-process communication and systems development
