Responsibilities
Oversee the planning, preparation, and review of complex federal, state, and local tax returns for businesses, partnerships, and individuals
Provide strategic tax planning services to clients, identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities and ensuring compliance with current regulations
Manage multiple engagements and deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy
Mentor and lead tax staff and managers, providing coaching and professional development opportunities
Collaborate with partners on business development initiatives, expanding client relationships, and growing the firm's tax practice
Up to speed on current tax laws, trends, and compliance requirements to provide proactive advice to clients
Qualification
Required
BS in Accounting, or related field
CPA (CA, active) is a mandatory requirement
6-20+ years of public accounting exp. focused on tax, compliance, law, with supervisory or management exp:
Senior Tax Manager: 10+ years | Tax Manager: 6+ years
Expertise in federal, state, and local tax laws, with experience serving both individual and corporate clients
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results
Proficiency in tax software and MS Office applications
Preferred
MS in Accounting or MS in Taxation - (Big plus/preferred)
