A/P Manager, Senior Accountant - Non-Profit
Ledgent is a non-profit organization located near downtown LA seeking an A/P Manager-Senior Accountant on a contract-to-hire basis. The role involves managing accounts, overseeing the A/P function, and assisting with financial reporting and audits.
Responsibilities
Responsible for account/bank reconciliation, general ledger management, overseeing the A/P function and two A/P Clerks, assisting with month-end, and journal entry preparation
Analyze balance sheets, handle project expense management, manage the G/L, as well as prepare fiscal reports
Assist with audits as well as ad hoc projects and administrative tasks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related discipline is required
At least three years of general accounting and A/P management experience (i.e., general ledger management, journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, month-end assistance, etc.), including overseeing A/P Clerks
Non-profit industry and NetSuite experience is required
Advanced Excel
Must have very good time management and communication skills
