Responsibilities
You’ll lead pricing analysis and GLM modeling across retail and wholesale travel products
You’ll develop actuarial memos, exhibits, and manuals for 50-state filings, including complex states like CA and NY
You’ll own actuarial projects end-to-end, from scoping to execution to documentation
You’ll perform rate indications, experience studies, and ongoing monitoring to support profitability goals
You’ll collaborate with internal teams to advance key workstreams
You’ll maintain, enhance, and document actuarial tools, models, and processes
You’ll work independently while contributing to a transparent, open, and supportive team culture
Qualification
Required
ASA/ACAS designation
5+ years of experience in A&H, P&C, or related lines
Strong GLM expertise and confidence discussing methodology, assumptions, and interpretation
Hands-on capability with Python, R, Emblem, Excel/VBA, and SQL
Data visualization experience
Track record of independently managing large, complex actuarial and filing projects
Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical detail clearly
Reliability, strong work ethic, and comfort working remotely as a self-starter
Curiosity, adaptability, and a problem-solving mindset suited to a fast-evolving travel insurance space
