BNY is a leading global financial services company, and they are seeking a Fund Accounting Analyst to support their Fund Accounting and Investment Operations team. The Analyst will focus on derivatives processing, reconciliations, and mutual fund/ETF accounting while ensuring operational accuracy and process improvement.

Responsibilities

Derivative Processing: Set up derivatives, process trades, and manage lifecycle events within the accounting platform

Reconciliations: Perform daily reconciliations of cash, positions, balances, and exposure; research and resolve breaks

Fund Accounting Support: Assist with mutual fund and ETF accounting activities, surveys, worksheets, and data verification

Reporting & Documentation: Update and maintain fund databases, prepare reports, and support financial statement and tax-related processes

Operational Accuracy: Execute daily tasks with precision, escalate issues appropriately, and ensure deadlines are met

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors, subject matter experts, and peers to support end-to-end operational workflows

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen operational efficiency
