Warehouse Manager
SAM Nutrition is a global leader in animal feed additives, consistently ranked as one of America’s “Fastest Growing Private Companies.” The Warehouse Operations Manager will lead and optimize warehouse functions, drive safety, efficiency, and accuracy, while collaborating with supply chain and logistics to ensure a seamless end-to-end process and maintain inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities
Ensure the safety of all warehouse employees, contractors, carriers, and guests
Maintain audit-ready records for all materials and movements, ensuring quick access during internal and external audits
Conduct regular internal audits and pre-audit readiness checks (food safety, safety, inventory accuracy, traceability) and implement corrective actions with clear owners and deadlines
Enforce robust data integrity and access controls to support audit findings
Supervise and mentor the warehouse operations team, setting clear objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing training
Oversee the entire logistics and warehouse process, from inventory management to order fulfillment, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Collaborate with internal teams to assess, onboard, and manage warehouse partnerships, ensuring regulatory compliance, service levels, and cost-effectiveness
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and carriers, resolving issues and discrepancies in a timely and effective manner
Prepare, analyze, and report on key logistics and warehouse metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement
Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines
Assist with internal and external audits and inspections, ensuring all logistics and warehouse practices are compliant with statutory requirements
Address and resolve escalated issues from both internal and external sources
Maintain organized and accurate records of all inbound and outbound shipments, damages, and product conversions
Implement best practices for lot traceability, ensuring full visibility of all inventory movements
Collaborate with procurement, sales, logistics, and supply chain teams to align warehouse operations to business needs
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and warehouse operations
Excellent leadership and organizational skills
Strong communication, change management, and interpersonal abilities
Detail-oriented with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to solve problems and make quick decisions
Proficiency with ERP and WMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to operate a forklift and aerial lift
Preferred
Some education in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
Knowledge of FDA and FSVP regulations
OSHA 10 certification
Kaizen, Lean or 5S experience
