Hendrick Health is seeking a Professional Development Intern to assist with the development and support of educational opportunities for personnel, physicians, students, and community members. The role involves learning to teach American Heart Association classes, managing learning systems, and acting as a resource for various departments.

Responsibilities
Learning to teach American Heart Association classes while evaluating participants’ skills and competency
Adhering to governing agencies’ guidelines and mandates
Assisting in facilitating organization and record validation at annual competencies
Assisting with management of the learning management systems (LMS)
Assisting in facilitating computerized student orientation
Learning to act as a resource and liaison to nursing units, ancillary departments, and healthcare related educational programs at Hendrick Health
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
College Student
Commitment to education as a methodology for promoting continuous quality improvement in the delivery of patient care and services
Ability to present job specific educational information in a professional manner
Organize and complete educational records according to facility and governing agency requirements
Assist with management of LMS
Demonstration of the ability to function as an effective team member within the department and throughout the facility
