Senior EHS Engineer

The Senior EHS Engineer will support the Environmental, Health & Safety & Materials Management team with compliance tasks for air emissions and various regulatory projects at the Sullivan Park site.

Responsibilities
Technical support for existing federal and state regulations, updates, and modification as required for documentation (namely NYS DEC State Facility Air Operating Permit, Part 212, and NYS Parts 494 and 495)
Responsibility for submitting state and federal compliance reports
Evaluate regulatory applicability of and compliance assurance for air regulations to new and modified processes
Communicate environmental regulations and corporate Environmental Policy and Guidelines as they pertain to the S&T/Sullivan Park sites
Participate with review of projects, plans, specifications, and purchases to verify environmental compliance
Support environmental assessments along with mitigation activities that will identify, evaluate and prevent non-compliant conditions or acts
Qualification
Required
2+ years experience
BS in environmental science, EHS management, engineering, materials science, or related technical field
MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (minimum)
Demonstrates respect and courtesy for others
Positive professional attitude and willingness to learn
Can work independently and within a diverse team environment
Preferred
Air emissions regulatory compliance, 2-5 years
Experience with management of change processes
Goal and results oriented
