Responsibilities
Develop detailed electrical specifications, schematics, and production drawings for overhead crane equipment using computer-assisted drafting (AutoCAD/Solidworks) software
Review customer schematics and specifications to ensure conformance with electrical codes and design requirements
Generate detailed Bill of Materials for electrical designs
Assist in troubleshooting and provide technical support for electrical components
Develop standard electrical design procedures, templates, and documents
Collaborate with the mechanical engineering and manufacturing groups
Work with the basic features of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must be organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Qualification
Required
2-8 years of applicable experience in the field of electrical schematic layout & design
Proficiency in AutoCAD for detailing electrical schematics and drawings
Extensive knowledge of electric motors and motor drives
Extensive knowledge of electrical codes and practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently, with minimum supervision, and as part of a team
Must be organized and have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
