The role involves interfacing with closing agents, issuing wire fund transfers, and reconciling escrow accounts among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Interface with closing agents to ensure firm closing dates and accurate completion of loan files

May preside over closing as an authorized representative of the company, ensuring all requirements have been satisfied, including insurance, guarantee, etc

Issue wire fund transfers as required

Assure payoffs are accurate and delivered timely

Work in conjunction with title agent to clear any impeding title matters

Reconcile general ledger escrow account monthly

Reviewing mortgages and deeds to ensure they are recorded in a timely manner

Cutting checks and disbursing funds, necessary to ensure the marketability of loans. Interface with closing agents to ensure firm closing dates and accurate completion of loan files

Performs other duties as assigned
