Responsibilities

Lays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies developmental and production electronics components, parts, equipment, and systems by performing the essential duties listed below

Must be able to perform test activities that include field return and failure analysis from written instructions and drawings

Must have experience with writing reports, failure analyses and must be able to read schematics and troubleshoot to component level

Understanding of Environmental, Vibration, Shock and Acceleration testing to MIL Standards is a plus

Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment such as multimeters, microscopes oscilloscopes, power meters, hi-pot testing, fiber optics, etc

Must have previous ISO9001 or AS9100 work experience along with FOD prevention 5S

Required

Associates degree from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent

Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in Environmental, electronics, with fiber optic experience a plus

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Ability to prioritize workload

Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner

Ability to exercise discretion

Ability to pay close attention to detail and produce high level of accuracy

Ability to work effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner
