They are seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to support the Project Manager in delivering the pre-feasibility study and exploration development for the Fourmile project while mentoring junior team members and optimizing mine designs and schedules.

Responsibilities

Effectively produce life of mine project designs and costing to incorporate the impact of geologic model revisions and updates, incorportating geotechnical parameters. Assist in the preparation of Reserve and Resource estimates for the project

Optimize mine designs and schedules through the completion of iterative scenarios with consideration of future growth prospects

Effectively use mine scheduling software to produce life of mine schedules for use in budgeting and forecasting; incorporate capital mine access designs into the schedule

Produce study project forecasts and budgets at regular intervals in various formats for inclusion in other business programs

Implement Xeras models to forecast mine and maintenance operating costs

Equipment selection for additions and replacements to the production fleet

Leadership, mentoring and development of team members

Formulate project parameters, and assist in monitoring progress to address constraints
